"You will not need to "jailbreak" the device you're monitoring. Some monitoring services require this, but it would void your warranty and possibly render the device itself useless. All communication that passes through the device will be logged. The software will not record phone calls, as that would constitute an illegal wiretap. Every app used on the device will be visible in a report. You will also be able to see the location of the device on a map."

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I have to Jailbreak the target device?
NO - WebWatcher does not require you to "jailbreak" the target iPhone or iPad. Jailbreaking is no only complicated, but also voids the devices warranty, and if the device upgrades to a newer version of iOS in the future, the jailbreak will be wiped out. With WebWatcher, all you need is the Apple ID and Password (same username and password used to download a new app from the Apple App Store) for the iCloud account of the target iPhone or iPad you are authorized to monitor. Beware of competitors that require you to "jailbreak" the target device.
2. Is the device I want to monitor compatible with WebWatcher?
WebWatcher for iOS is compatible with devices running iOS 6.0 or later.
While we make every effort to upgrade to be compatible with new operating systems, WebWatcher cannot guarantee compatibility with future operating systems. Refunds will not be issued if the target device uses an unsupported operating system that is NOT listed above. See Refund Policy
3. Do I need access to the target device?
NO - As long as iCloud Backup is turned on (which it is by default) and as long as Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is turned off. All you need is the Apple ID and Password of the target device you are authorized to monitor.
*If iCloud Backup is turned off at any point, you will need to re-enable iCloud Backup on the target device by following these steps:
* If 2FA is turned on, it is recommended that you go to the phone and turn it off, or you will need to get access to the phone each time you want to request data and type in the new authentication code. To turn off 2FA, follow these steps: Click Here
4. How long does it take for recorded data to display in my account?
Recorded data will begin to display in your WebWatcher account once every 24 hours after the last iCloud Backup (iOS 9 data is available on demand once every 24 hours). Automatic iCloud backups occur when the following scenarios occur simultaneously on the target iOS device:
5. What do I have to do for iCloud to back up?
An iCloud Backup occurs once every 24 hours if iCloud Backup is enable (which it is by default) and if the device is plugged into a power source, home screen is locked, is connected to WiFi, and if there is available iCloud Storage*.
How to determine if iCloud Backup is enabled:
Settings > iCloud > Backup > ON
How to determine the last iCloud Backup:
Settings > iCloud > Backup > Last Backup Time
How to verify if the device is connected to WiFi:
Settings > WiFi > ON (green)
5GB of iCloud Storage is default on an iOS device (Apple offers 50GB of storage for $0.99/month). WebWatcher will stop working if iCloud Storage reaches 0GB on the target iOS device.
How to determine available storage:
Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage
6. Do I have to buy WebWatcher from the same device I want to monitor?
NO - WebWatcher can be purchased from any device. All you need is the Apple ID and Password of the target device you are authorized to monitor.
